a piece of my heart lies with the people of india. it is such a fascinating country, offering new sights and experiences with every turn. i have been there three times, and i plan to continue my visits.
psalm 139: a series of perceptional portraits
these images make up my first senior project. after going through a personal struggle, i encountered this psalm and felt immediate peace. i wanted to portray the images and feelings that played through my mind while reading these scriptures. each image represents one verse (psalm 139:1-6) and is displayed in order.
india travel art
these images together create my second senior project. i wanted to combine my love of india with my love of design to create beautiful household artwork. i chose four cities in india (mumbai, chennai, new delhi, and kolkata) and created both a city map and travel poster. i also created a wall calendar featuring recognizable illustrations of indian traditions and culture.
alice in wonderland
these images explore my interpretation of Lewis Carroll's classic story. i wanted the images to have a light and ephemeral feel to them. four images of this series were purchased by Huntington University to hang in the children's literature area of the Richlyn Library.
i photograph every wedding with care, capturing each moment and special detail.
i love capturing the candid moments that emerge when siblings and families are with one another. those instances are what create the most memorable photos.
what's more beautiful than two people madly in love with each other?!
